Congress Leader Jairam Ramesh Accuses Bhajanlal Government of Copying Party’s Plans in Rajasthan

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has started attacking the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

In the recent assembly elections in Rajasthan, the BJP secured victory, forming a new government with Bhajanlal Sharma appointed as the Chief Minister. However, the political landscape is heating up as the Congress, in the opposition, criticizes the BJP government’s policies. A prominent Congress leader, Jairam Ramesh has made significant allegations, claiming that CM Bhajan Lal Sharma is merely replicating Congress’s schemes.

Ramesh accuses the BJP of adopting Congress’s proposals, asserting that the ruling party is imitating their guarantees despite Congress losing the Rajasthan assembly elections. Notably, the recent announcement about providing LPG cylinders at Rs 450 from January 1 has become a focal point of contention.

According to Ramesh, while the Congress had plans to offer LPG cylinders at Rs 500 to 1.4 crore families in the state, the BJP government intends to provide them at Rs 450, but only to around 70 lakh families. Ramesh suggests that the BJP’s move appears to be influenced by the Congress’s original commitment, marking a victory for the Congress, which initially proposed the reduction of LPG prices to Rs 500.
