Social activist Shalini Ali has approached both the Central Board of Film Certification and the National Commission for Women, demanding an immediate prohibition and legal scrutiny.
In her representation to CBFC Chairperson Prasoon Joshi, Ali described the song as offensive and indecent. She argued that the lyrics and visuals breach acceptable cultural norms and indicate a decline in societal standards.

Simultaneously, Ali petitioned NCW Chairperson Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar, urging prompt intervention. She emphasised the adverse influence of such content on younger audiences, asserting that it normalises objectification and undermines respect for women.

The National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice, leading to the removal of the video from YouTube and other platforms.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has reportedly directed authorities to verify allegations and act accordingly.
