CM Yogi Flags Off Special Shuttle & Electric Buses For Maha Kumbh In Prayagraj

On the second day of his Prayagraj tour, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off special shuttle buses and ‘Atal Seva’ electric buses to improve transportation for devotees attending the Maha Kumbh.

CM Yogi’s visit to Prayagraj focused on reviewing the preparations for the Maha Kumbh.

The event, which took place at the parade area, saw the flagging off of 100 buses in the presence of Uttar Pradesh ministers Daya Shankar Singh, Nand Gopal Nandi, and Swatantra Dev Singh.

On his return to the airport after completing his tour, CM Yogi stepped out of his vehicle to take a walk along the road, captivated by its beauty. Ministers and officials followed his lead and joined him.

Additionally, CM Yogi praised the airport route’s aesthetics, walking along the road to admire the carefully planted greenery and landscaping.

Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, and Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh accompanied CM Yogi during this inspection.

CM Yogi Inaugurates ‘Maa Ki Rasoi’ & Reviews Food Arrangements For Maha Kumbh

Earlier in the day, CM Yogi inaugurated ‘Maa Ki Rasoi’, a special kitchen operated by Nandi Seva Sansthan at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital. He commended the organization’s effort to maintain a clean kitchen that will serve quality food to the poor.

The Chief Minister served ‘thalis’ to people while inspecting the special kitchen during its inauguration. He launched ‘Maa Ki Rasoi’ and reviewed the arrangements for feeding the public.

Accompanied by UP Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, CM Adityanath assessed the kitchen preparing the food.

The Maha Kumbh, celebrated after 12 years, will likely attract over 45 crore devotees.

The grand event will however see the gathering of devotees at the Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, to take a holy dip.

The Maha Kumbh will conclude on 26 February.

The major bathing dates for the Kumbh will be 14 January (Makar Sankranti), 29 January (Mauni Amavasya), and 3 February (Basant Panchami).
