CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday conducted an aerial survey of flood-hit areas in Ghazipur after completing his visit to Varanasi.

Flying over the severely affected regions, he personally reviewed the situation and directed officials to ensure that no family suffers due to the disaster.

The Chief Minister stressed that immediate relief and timely support must reach every affected household.

CM Directs Constant Vigil and Relief Measures

Addressing officials after the aerial survey, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed divisional and district administrations to remain on constant alert until the floodwaters recede. He directed them to make comprehensive arrangements for food, drinking water, shelter, and healthcare services in relief camps.

The Chief Minister also called for special attention to be paid to vulnerable groups such as children, elderly people, and women.

The Chief Minister emphasised the need to protect livestock, which forms a crucial source of livelihood for rural families. He instructed officials to ensure the timely supply of cattle feed and prevent the spread of animal diseases in flood-hit villages.

CM Yogi Adityanath ordered officials to keep adequate stocks of medicines, anti-snake venom, and anti-rabies vaccines ready to handle medical emergencies. He also prioritised clean drinking water, sanitation, and mobile health units in his directives.

Reiterating the government’s commitment, CM Adityanath assured that the state stands firmly with every citizen in this hour of crisis. He called upon officials to accelerate both relief and rescue operations, stressing that immediate assistance must be provided to all victims without delay.

The Chief Minister underlined the importance of coordination between local authorities, disaster response teams, and health workers to deliver effective relief.

CM Yogi Adityanath reaffirmed that the state government would extend every possible help to flood-affected families. He said that timely food, water, medical supplies, and shelter remain top priorities for the administration.

The Chief Minister’s proactive inspection and directives aimed to reassure the public and ensure that families in Ghazipur receive swift and adequate support during the flood crisis.
