Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the KDSG Super Speciality Hospital in the Dadri region of Greater Noida on Thursday.

The Chief Minister toured the newly built facility and reviewed its infrastructure. He also held discussions with medical professionals regarding patient care standards and the quality of healthcare services.

Former India cricket captain Kapil Dev and Gautam Buddh Nagar Member of Parliament Mahesh Sharma attended the ceremony.

While addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasised the importance of doctors’ conduct and confidence in treating patients.

He illustrated his point with an example from cricket. He remarked that when Kapil Dev stepped onto the field to bowl, the Pakistani team often felt psychologically pressured.

Similarly, confident doctors can reassure patients and help them recover faster.

He added that when medical treatment is combined with faith and positive thinking, patients often experience quicker recovery.

e noted that such trust also enhances the reputation of healthcare institutions.

Boosting Regional Healthcare Access

The Chief Minister described the establishment of the KDSG Super Speciality Hospital as a major step for residents of the National Capital Region.

The facility will deliver advanced and modern medical treatment within the region.

He stressed that healthcare remains a basic necessity for every citizen. People expect dependable treatment and high-quality facilities.

The government continues to strengthen the healthcare sector, yet private sector participation remains essential for expanding services.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the success of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana launched by Narendra Modi.

Nearly 60 crore citizens across India benefit from the programme. In Uttar Pradesh alone, authorities have issued more than five crore Golden Cards, allowing beneficiaries to receive treatment worth up to ₹5 lakh.

He further stated that healthy competition and transparency improve healthcare delivery. While new super-speciality hospitals are welcome, treatment costs must remain balanced and affordable.

Constructed at a cost of approximately ₹200 crore, the 300-bed KDSG Super Speciality Hospital features modern departments in cardiology, oncology, and neurology, alongside advanced surgical facilities. The institution is expected to generate direct and indirect employment for nearly 1,000 people.

Kapil Dev thanked the state government and expressed commitment to building a healthcare institution that sets new national standards.
