Madhya Pradesh News: To perpetuate the memory of Rani Durgavati, the embodiment of bravery and courage, a memorial will be built at a cost of Rs 100 crore. This memorial will be built near Madan Mahal in Jabalpur. This announcement was made by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Monday. He was speaking in a program organized on the martyrdom day of tribal heroes Raja Shankar Shah, Kunwar Raghunath Shah in Jabalpur.
The Chief Minister said- “I have always fulfilled the promises I have made. Two years ago, on the occasion of the martyrdom day of Raja Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah ji, I had made 14 announcements. Today I am happy to say that we have completed those 14 announcements. The lives of poor and tribal brothers and sisters have changed. By implementing the PESA law, our government has empowered the tribal people and given them the right to retain their land and culture. The Congress government never did the work of implementing PESA. They have only deceived the tribals. The Chief Minister said that last year also we had celebrated Martyrdom Day, our Home Minister Amit Shah had come, even today I have come.
The Chief Minister said that it was on this day that the British had tied their guns to their cannons and fired them because they had said that we will not accept slavery, Britishers you will have to go out of India. He had instigated a struggle in the entire Madhya Pradesh, especially in the Gondwana region, such a struggle that the British were frightened. They felt that if they remained alive, the British would be driven out and they would not be able to stay on Indian soil. Therefore, in the same sequence of attempts to crush the revolution, our Raja Saheb and Kunwar Saheb were tied to live cannons and blown up. Today I bow at his feet, I bow to this brave land of Jabalpur
The Chief Minister said that we all know the courage of Rani Durgavati, she had told Akbar that she would give her last drop of blood, but would not accept slavery. Rani Durgavati was our self-respect, Rani was the identity of our culture, Rani was a symbol of bravery, bravery, service, good governance, she was a symbol of service, her name will always remain immortal, we will build such a memorial.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that on October 5, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Rani Durgavati, I will come to Jabalpur again, we will organize events with great pomp, celebrate her birth anniversary, the complete design of the memorial will be made. It is important to preserve his memory and carry forward the spirit of patriotism.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that there was a big difference between the words and actions of the Congress government, it never implemented the provisions of the PESA Act. Our government has implemented the PESA Act, now the poor tribal brothers and sisters are getting many benefits, they have been given the rights to water, forest and land.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Congress wanted that the children of tribals should not get education, hence they made higher education in English. English is so that poor talents do not move ahead, but our government started education in Hindi, now medical education is also being conducted in Hindi.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that now 5 percent posts will be reserved in the NEET medical examination for children passing out from government schools, Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to make such a provision.
The Chief Minister said that a scheme like Laadli Behna was started to change the lives of sisters. This scheme has not only given money, it has given respect to the sisters and empowered them. Ladli Brahmin Awas Yojana has been started to provide houses to the poor sisters whose names are not included in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under CM Awas Yojana, everyone will be given money to build houses. I have also started this scheme in which gas cylinders will be given to the beneficiary sisters of Ujjwala and Laadli Behna Yojana for Rs 450. We are canceling all those whose electricity bills have increased. From now onwards only Rs 100 bills will come.
