‘Clear Confusion By Evening ‘RJD’s Curt Response On Nitish Kumar-BJP rumours

PTI has been informed by the JD(U) that although the party remains committed to the Opposition bloc, it would like the Congress to reflect on the alliance and seat sharing.

In response to rumors that he is in talks with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) about joining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) asked ally Nitish Kumar to clarify his position on Friday. RJD MP Manoj Jha responded to questions from the media with brevity, stating that the Bihar chief minister needed to “clear the confusion” by tonight.

Additionally, Manoj Jha stated that the RJD has never engaged in such games and is willing to maintain the alliance.

“All we can do is ask Nitish Kumar to clarify things by tonight. From our end, it is evident that there is confusion surrounding the alliance, which is having an impact on people’s daily lives.

Thus, we are also perplexed by the confusion arising from media reports. We won’t be posting any remarks on your behalf. I will therefore ask that he clarify the matter and say “idhar-udhar.” The chief minister will follow reports from the media as well. RJD never played this khela (game),” the news agency ANI reported him as stating.

Manoj Jha expressed his confidence in Kumar’s ability to deny the reports.

JD(U) claims it’s with the INDIA bloc.

PTI has been informed by the JD(U) that although the party remains committed to the Opposition bloc, it would like the Congress to reflect on the alliance and seat sharing.

The Janata Dal (United) was implied to have been considering the possibility of an alliance by the BJP and its allies in Bihar today.

“Bihar’s political situation has been discussed in Delhi, and only after analysing the situation, an able leadership will be decided upon… There is absolute anarchy and political instability in Bihar… The decision taken by the helm of the party will be accepted by all the party workers,” Bihar Leader of Opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha said.

Gyanendra Singh Gyanu, a BJP MLA, even set a deadline.

There will undoubtedly be a change. It’s only a matter of time now. Yesterday, the party decided on the BJP. Nitish Ji is prepared too. Nitish ji is also liked by PM Modi. If Nitish ji joins us, NDA will win all 40 seats in Bihar…I believe that in two days, everything will be resolved. Bihar will have an NDA-led government, he declared.

Earlier this week, Nitish Kumar triggered a stir in the Bihar alliance when he talked about dynasty politics at an event on Karpoori Thakur’s 100th birth anniversary. Soon, Lalu Yadav’s daughter Roshni Acharya wrote a cryptic post on X. The BJP claimed she had called Kumar “badtameez”.

On Acharya’s removed post, JDU chief KC Tyagi declined to comment. He added, “The alliance is still in place.”
