Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the 9th P20 Summit at the ‘Yashobhumi’ International Convention Center in Delhi on Friday. The summit included the participation of parliamentary leaders from G20 nations. On the second day of the event, Upendrra Rai, Chairman of Bharat Express, also took part and shared his views on various aspects, including carbon emissions and democracy.

He mentioned that the scope of P20 has been limited due to the conflict between Israel and Hamas. He also highlighted Prime Minister Modi’s definition of terrorism in his speech and shared his insights on the Israel-Hamas conflict.

“Disputes have caused many countries to fall behind,” Upendrra Rai stated during the program. He used the example of Pakistan to emphasize that India has established its own influence. After the successful hosting of the G20 Summit, the concept of ‘India Shining’ has gained momentum.
India supported Israel in this conflict
Chairman mentioned that India supported Israel in this conflict, as India has also faced similar situations. India has declared zero tolerance for terrorism, and its goal is to eliminate terrorism. In such circumstances, India has maintained its stand in line with its policies.
World considers Hamas’ resistance unwarranted
He explained that the world considers Hamas as an unwarranted resistance against Israel. On the other hand, countries worldwide stand with Israel. He pointed out that there is nothing in the Quran that justifies the killing of someone without reason, and violence is unacceptable in any religion.
Upendrra Rai praised Israel
He praised Israel as one of the most progressive nations in the world, with a significant contribution to the global economy. He criticized Hamas for imposing an undesired war on Israel, questioning what else Israel could do when it refrains from war. He emphasized that Prime Minister Modi has described G20 and P20 as a grand gathering of democracies and mentioned the concept of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.’ India has a generous heart, and the theme of this event is ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future,’ which is a parliament for all.
