Ten major exit polls for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections have made the political atmosphere both exciting and uncertain.
The 234-member Assembly sets the majority mark at 118 seats. All projections centre on this crucial figure.

The biggest surprise comes from Vijay’s TVK. The ‘Axis My India’ survey projects the party to win between 98 and 120 seats, potentially making it the single largest party and even enabling it to form the government in its debut election.
‘Kamakhya Analytics’ offers a more fragmented picture, predicting no clear majority for any party.
In this scenario, TVK could secure between 67 and 81 seats, positioning it as a crucial player in government formation.
Overall, the exit polls present widely varying outcomes, leaving the final picture unclear. With conflicting projections across agencies, the Tamil Nadu electoral battle remains too close to call.
The actual results will be determined on 4 May. Vote counting will reveal which party or alliance secures the mandate to form the next government in the state.
