On Wednesday, four private schools in Noida received bomb threats via email, triggering panic among students, parents, and staff.
The affected schools—Step by Step School, The Heritage School, Gyanshree School, and Mayur School—immediately informed the district administration and police.
Following the alerts, Uttar Pradesh Police, along with the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), fire brigade, and dog squad, were deployed to the schools to conduct a thorough investigation.
Authorities later confirmed that they had brought the situation under control and found no explosives.
Police reassured the public, urging them not to fall for rumors and to remain calm. Many of the schools resumed classes after security checks.

The cybercrime unit has launched an investigation into the email threats, working to identify those responsible.
Officials noted that similar incidents occurred last year when several schools in Delhi, Noida, and NCR received bomb threats, causing widespread disruption.
In response to past incidents, the Delhi High Court had directed authorities to establish a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for handling such threats.
The court emphasized that while completely preventing such threats may not be feasible, a well-coordinated response plan involving law enforcement, school management, and municipal authorities is essential in tackling security challenges in the digital age.
