The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) named chiefs and deputy chiefs for all of the states, including those that will hold this year’s assembly elections, on Friday.
The list has a new name, but the majority of party office-bearers are same.
In Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, and Karnataka, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, Tarun Chugh, and Radha Mohan Das will continue to guide the party’s organizational matters, while in Kerala, party veterans like Prakash Javadekar will continue to do so.

Senior MLA Lata Usendi has been named Saha Prabhari by the party, and Vijaypal Singh Tomar has been selected as the new state in-charge of Odisha.
Punjab and Uttarakhand will continue to be led by former Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani and party general secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam, respectively.
The BJP lawmaker Sambit Patra, who represents Puri in the Lok Sabha, has been named the coordinator for the northeastern states, while V Muraleedharan has been named the joint coordinator.
Released on Friday, the appointment list of BJP office-bearers as Saha Prabharis (co-incharges) and Prabharis (in-charges), which was signed by Arun Singh, the national secretary of the party.
Notably, a state in charge serves as a key interface between the national and state leadership.
