BJP President J P Nadda Kicks Off Nationwide Tiranga Yatra From Rajkot

On Saturday, BJP President J P Nadda inaugurated the Tiranga Yatra from Rajkot, Gujarat, marking the start of a nationwide campaign under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative.

This campaign will run until 15 August, culminating in the celebration of India’s 77th Independence Day.

Speaking at the launch event, Nadda highlighted Gujarat’s pivotal role in the nation’s progress and expressed pride in beginning the Tiranga Yatra from this historic state.

He underscored the significance of the Independence struggle, urging the youth to remember the sacrifices made by countless soldiers and families who prioritized the nation over their own interests.

Nadda stated, “Gujarat has always been at the forefront of India’s development journey.”

“Today, we begin this Yatra in Rajkot, and it will continue to Surat, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad. By August 15, we aim to bring this spirit of patriotism to every corner of the country,” he further added.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah To Join Grand Finale Of Tiranga Yatra

The Tiranga Yatra will reach its grand finale in Ahmedabad on 13 August, where Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to join the celebrations.

The closing event will be attended by key figures such as Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Minister of State for Home Affairs Harsh Sanghavi, and Minister of State for Cooperation Jagdish Vishwakarma, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.

The campaign is likely to foster a sense of national pride and patriotism, with events planned in major cities across Gujarat, including Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Surat, and Vadodara.

Each city will host significant activities, drawing large crowds and participation from prominent leaders.

In Surat, the Tiranga Yatra is to draw around one lakh participants on 11 August, with Chief Minister Patel, State BJP Chief C R Paatil, and other ministers leading the march.

The Yatra will then move to Vadodara on 12 August.

Renamed the Rashtra Chetna Yatra, this initiative however aims to inspire patriotic fervor across Gujarat as the nation approaches Independence Day.

The launch in Rajkot saw participation from top leaders, including CM Patel and Union Minister Sanghavi, setting the tone for the nationwide campaign.
