BJP Leader Files Case Against Bagheshwar Dham Sarkar Over His Comment: “Sai Baba is…”

The controversial statement

In his statement about Sai Baba is expressed that Shankrayacharya has not given Sai the designation of God. He said, “Shankaracharya ji has not given Sai Baba the place of a deity. Preying Shankaracharya ji is the duty of every Sanatani because he is the prime minister of our ‘dharm’. Any saint of our dharma, be it Goswami Tulsidas ji or Surdas ji, is a saint, a great man, a ‘yug purush’, a ‘kalpa purush’ but not a God.”

“People have their faith. We cannot hurt anyone’s faith. Sai Baba can be a saint, a fakir but he cannot be a God,” he added.

Case filed against Bagheshwar Dham Sarkar

Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, a senior BJP member from Maharashtra, criticized the head of the Bagheswar Dham for making the divisive comments and asked that legal action be taken against him. The BJP leader told reporters that “severe action should be taken against him for his irresponsible statement” and that “a criminal complaint should be filed.” He encouraged the government to take action against the self-styled godman, accusing him of deceiving the populace.
