Amit Shah Rebukes Congress, Denounces False Claims on BJP’s Majority Goals

Shah expressed optimism about the BJP’s performance in South India. He stated that the party has received a positive response in the region.

The Home Minister confidently declared that after the completion of two phases of the seven-phase elections, the BJP and its allies have already crossed 100 seats.

With this momentum, Shah asserted the party’s determination to surpass 400 seats with the support of the people.

Shah emphasized the significant electoral victories in various states such as Assam, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Uttarakhand. He noted the promising response from South India.

Shah highlighted the BJP’s growing popularity across the country, including states like Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

Lashing out at the Congress, Amit Shah said, “For a few days now, the party has started twisting our goal of achieving a majority of 400 seats. They are propagating that after BJP crosses the mark of 400, they will change the constitution and abolish reservations. Both these claims are baseless and factually incorrect.”

Rahul Gandhi Lowering The Standards Of Politics: Shah

The Home Minister denied the allegations stemming from a video circulated on social media, purportedly showing him advocating to end reservation for SC/ST/OBC.

Shah condemned the dissemination of fake videos, attributing it to the frustration of the Congress Party.

He accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of lowering the standards of politics. The Home Minister condemned the attempt to garner public support through such deceitful means.

Shah emphasized the condemnable nature of circulating fake videos. He stressed that such actions should not be undertaken by any major political party in India.

‘Reservation Based On Religion Unconstitutional’

Amit Shah emphasized BJP’s unwavering support for reservations for SCs, STs, and OBCs, affirming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s consistent endorsement.

He criticized Congress for allegedly diminishing OBC reservation by granting reservations to Muslims without proper assessment.

Shah asserted BJP’s belief that reservation based on religion is unconstitutional.

He pledged to ensure justice for marginalized communities by abolishing religious-based reservations if BJP comes to power in states like Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
