BJP activist shot dead in Jaunpur
Jaunpur: On Thursday, a local Bharatiya Janata Party activist was shot dead by several persons in a location near the Sikrara Police Station. Superintendent of Police (City) Brijesh Kumar stated that Pramod Kumar Yadav, a Bodhapur resident and member of the BJP district unit, was driving when some motorbike riders signaled for him to halt and fired at him. The event occurred at 10 a.m. “The attackers fired four bullets at Yadav. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead,” Kumar explained. Superintendent of Police Ajay Pal Sharma stated that investigations into the event are ongoing, adding that those responsible would be apprehended shortly.
