The Global Tech Policy Confederation (GTPC) organised the Bharat Tech Summit & Awards 2025 in collaboration with strategic ecosystem partners from industry, government, trade bodies and academia.
Positioned as the principal convenor and knowledge partner, GTPC brought policymakers, cybersecurity experts, technologists, cloud specialists, founders and investors together on a single neutral platform.
The summit opened with registration and a networking high tea, followed by an audio-visual presentation introducing the theme ‘Where Bharat Meets the World of Innovation’.
Moreover, a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, led by Shri Praveen Khandelwal Ji along with Mrs Jyoti Bharana and Mr Amit Bharana, marked the formal inauguration.
Dignitaries, including Praveen Khandelwal Ji, Ms Manpreet Anand and Mr Sunil Chopra, were felicitated for their contributions.
In her welcome address, Mrs Jyoti Bharana highlighted GTPC’s mission and positioned the summit as a celebration of innovation, collaboration and national purpose.
Shri Praveen Khandelwal Ji delivered a powerful keynote on India’s digital transformation from 2014 to 2025, covering the nation’s rise in digital payments, 4G–6G evolution, governance reforms and the need for cyber awareness.
He urged GTPC to launch an international tech policy conference and predicted that the summit would one day be attended by the Prime Minister.
Former Mayor of Southwark, London, Mr Sunil Chopra, spoke on India–UK collaborations and encouraged GTPC to host a similar ceremony in London.
Additionally, EC-Council’s India Head, Ms Manpreet Anand, stressed the urgency of cybersecurity skills, calling digital trust the new national currency.
Mr Bipin Lokegaonkar and other dignitaries unveiled the book Industrial Cybersecurity, highlighting the rising need to secure operational technologies and industrial systems.
Two high-intensity panel discussions followed. The first focused on digital infrastructure, cybersecurity and enterprise readiness, featuring leaders from Honda, L&T and EC-Council.
The second examined AI, automation, compliance and startup innovation, with further insights from experts representing ISRO, Airtel, TCS and the manufacturing sector.
The evening culminated in the Bharat Tech Awards 2025, recognising over 40 leaders and organisations across technology, manufacturing, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation and policy advocacy.
GTPC Chairman Mr Amit Bharana further delivered the vote of thanks, reaffirming the organisation’s long-term commitment to global tech policy and innovation.
The summit concluded with a networking dinner where policymakers, PSUs, corporates and startups explored collaborations shaping India’s digital future.
