Speaking at the mega conclave organised to mark the third anniversary of Bharat Express News Network at The Lalit New Delhi, CMD and Editor-in-Chief Upendrra Rai said the channel’s core principle is ‘Nation First and People First.’
He clarified that Bharat Express prioritises the emotions and concerns of the people rather than sensational news coverage.
CMD Upendrra Rai stated that Bharat Express has conducted more sting operations than any other channel.
According to him, all these investigative reports have been centred on public issues and the interests of the people.
Within three years, the channel received the Upcoming Hindi News Channel of the Year award. It has also earned an international award for Best Investigative Report.
Continuing his address, CMD Upendrra Rai said that Bharat Express has now reached 150 million television households and is available across all major DTH platforms. He added that the channel is also accessible on several OTT platforms, including JioTV, Google TV, Airtel Xstream, ZEE5, and DistroTV.
Bharat Express CMD also highlighted the network’s strong digital expansion. He said the channel has recorded unprecedented growth in the digital space, achieving more than one million new users within a year.
The Bharat Express App has already crossed 5 million subscribers, while the channel’s digital platforms have surpassed an average of 100 million views.
Concluding his remarks, CMD Upendrra Rai said that the journey of Bharat Express has only just begun. He added that the channel will continue to strengthen its role as a powerful voice for the people in the coming years.
