Bharat Express CMD Upendra Rai to be the Chief Guest at unveiling of statue of ASIC Founder

Ghazipur News: The unveiling ceremony of the statue of Harinarayan Rai Chaudhary, founder of Ashta Shaheed Inter College (ASIC), Ghazipur, will be organized on January 6. Bharat Express News Network Chairman, MD and Editor in Chief Upendra Rai will be present as the chief guest in this program. Before unveiling the statue, school manager Avadh Kishore Rai said that Harinarayan Rai Chaudhary was the leader of the school. He was born on 18 January 1898 in Sherpur Kalan village. He said that his invaluable contribution towards Ashta Inter College School cannot be forgotten. He said that even after three decades of retirement, he remained associated with the college.

College established with 9 students

Let us tell you that the college established on July 9, 1937 is the only established college in the area. The founder of ASIC, Harinarayan Rai Chaudhary, established the college on his own with 9 students. This Ashta Shaheed Inter College has a glorious history. For three decades after its establishment, it was the only college within a radius of 20 kilometers where students not only from the district but also from Ballia district used to come to get education. By getting an education from here, students are bringing glory to the country at a high level.

Let us tell you that former Vice President Hamid Ansari has also been a student here. Students of Ashta Shaheed Inter College are serving from administrative officers to students in the media world. It has been told that Harinarayan Rai Chaudhary remained in touch with his colleagues for the progress of the college till the end of his life.
