The eagerly awaited World Book Fair 2024 kicked off today, February 10th, at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. Organized by the Ministry of Education of the Government of India, this year’s fair carries the theme ‘Multi-Lingual India’ and will run until February 18th. Expect a plethora of sessions covering a diverse range of topics.
A special session is scheduled for February 11th at 5 pm in Hall No. 4 at Pragati Maidan. Upendrra Rai, Chairman, Managing Director, and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network, will participate in the PM-YUVA Authors’ interactive session on the ‘Role of Writers in Nation Building.’
The focal point of this year’s World Book Fair is the celebration of India’s linguistic diversity. Visitors can explore thousands of books in various languages, showcasing the rich literary heritage of the nation and beyond. From renowned authors to emerging voices, literature enthusiasts will find an extensive collection under one roof. Additionally, the fair includes a wide array of books aimed at enhancing children’s language learning skills.
