Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Hindu shrine, Kalki Dham, in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday. Alongside him were Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Chairman of Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, Acharya Pramod Krishnam.
Reflecting on the significance of the event, PM Modi noted that January 22, the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, marked the beginning of a new era with lasting influence. He expressed confidence that Kalki Dham would emerge as another prominent center of faith, with the devotion of saints and the support of the public.

PM Modi also acknowledged the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, emphasizing the sacredness and inspiration associated with the day. He attributed the cultural revival and pride in identity to the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
In his remarks, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the progress made by India in the past decade, characterizing it as the emergence of a new Bharat on the path of development.
Acharya Pramod Krishnam, Chairman of Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, expressed gratitude for the convergence of thousands of saints in Sambhal from across the country to fulfill the dream of ‘Sanatana Dharma’. He likened his belief in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s participation in the event to Shabari’s faith in Lord Ram’s arrival.
The ceremony symbolized not only the laying of a foundation stone but also the reaffirmation of faith and cultural resurgence in India.

Prime Minister Modi initiated the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Shri Kalki Dham temple and unveiled a model of the temple. The construction of Shri Kalki Dham is under the supervision of the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, led by its chairman Krishnam. The event saw the presence of seers and religious figures from various parts of the nation.
