Ayodhya is witnessing an atmosphere of renewed fervour as preparations intensify for the upcoming flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on November 25.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the event, marking another significant moment in the temple’s evolving journey. The sacred flag will be raised atop the temple’s spire, a gesture that many regard as spiritually momentous.
Across the temple town, authorities have stepped up arrangements. Authorities are lining the roads with decorative lights, strengthening security measures, and preparing to receive a wave of devotees expected to witness what many describe as a milestone in Ayodhya’s cultural revival.
The saint community has expressed enthusiastic support for the ceremony. Jagat Guru Paramhans Acharya Ji Maharaj, Peethadheeshwar of Tapasvi Chhawani, described the event as deeply rooted in India’s civilisational ethos.
He remarked that the transformation of Ayodhya reflects a return to its ancient glory.
According to him, the town’s rejuvenation mirrors descriptions found in the Vedic and Puranic texts. He further emphasised that key milestones, from the bhoomi pujan to the temple’s inauguration, took place under the leadership of PM Modi, making the upcoming flag-hoisting a moment of profound pride for devotees nationwide.
Paramhans Acharya added that the ceremony holds symbolic importance for the saint community, calling it a reflection of unity and spiritual resurgence.
