APSEZ Ranked Among Top-10 Global Transportation Companies In 2024 Sustainability Assessment

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) has earned a spot among the top-10 global transportation and transportation infrastructure companies in the 2024 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

The company achieved a score of 68 out of 100, marking a three-point improvement from the previous year. As a result, APSEZ now ranks in the 97th percentile within its sector, up from the 96th percentile in 2023.

For the second consecutive year, APSEZ ranked first in the environmental dimension of the assessment. The company also achieved the highest scores across various other dimensions, including social, governance, and economic factors. These criteria included transparency and reporting, materiality, supply chain management, information security/cybersecurity, systems availability, and customer relations.

Overview Of APSEZ’s Operations

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) is a key player in India’s port infrastructure and logistics. Part of the global Adani Group, APSEZ offers comprehensive end-to-end solutions, from port facilities to customer service.

With a network of seven strategically located ports and terminals on the west coast of India—including Mundra, Tuna Tekra, and Kandla—APSEZ is the largest port developer and operator in the country.

Additionally, the company operates ports on India’s east coast, including Haldia in West Bengal, Dhamra in Odisha, and Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. These ports collectively represent 27% of India’s total ports.
