Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says that applications for the Ladli Bahna Yojana for sisters will begin from International Women’s Day.

Under this scheme, an amount of one thousand rupees per month will be transferred to the women of poor and middle-class families in their accounts. To identify the beneficiaries, applications will be filled by visiting villages and wards. The CM called upon the women to use the amount received under the scheme to strengthen the family.

Chief Minister Chouhan was distributing acceptance letters to more than 24 lakh 94 thousand beneficiaries of Bhopal, Sagar and Ujjain divisions under Chief Minister’s public service campaign in Vidisha today. Chief Minister Chouhan transferred the amount of Rs 1,465 crore under Mukhyamantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana to the accounts of 73 lakh farmers of the state with a single click. Along with this, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth Rs 80 crore 95 lakh 21 thousand. The program started with Kanya Pujan.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, ”I want to make life easier for my sisters. Along with the previous run schemes, now the Ladli Bahna Yojana will improve the lives of my sisters. With the amount received under the scheme, women will be able to arrange milk, fruits and vegetables for their children.” He said that the previous government had stopped many of our public welfare schemes, and all those schemes have been started again. The Chief Minister said that what has not happened anywhere has happened in Madhya Pradesh and your brother Shivraj will do what no one has done.

Chief Minister Chouhan said, ”I am happy that 83 lakh such people have been identified in the state through the Chief Minister’s public service campaign, who are eligible to take advantage of government schemes. The work of distributing acceptance letters to benefit all these citizens in 38 different schemes is going on in the state. Today, acceptance letters were distributed to more than 24 lakh 94 thousand beneficiaries of Bhopal, Sagar, and Ujjain divisions.” Chief Minister Chouhan said that in the Vikas Yatra starting in the state from February 5, work will be done to connect the left-out people with various government schemes.

Now, these farmer families will also get 12 thousand rupees under Ladli Bahna Yojana. This way, the farmer’s family will start getting 22 thousand rupees annually in one year only. He told that 12 thousand crore rupees will be spent every year and 60 thousand crore rupees in 5 years in Ladli Behna Yojana.

CM Chauhan said that the state government is running several schemes for the welfare of the poor and to improve their lives. Mahayagya is being done for arranging ration, education, medicine and accommodation for the poor. Housing for the poor is being built by getting the government land from the land mafia. Cardholder families are also being given treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh in a year under the Ayushman Yojana. The state government is also paying the fees for the higher education of the dear Lakshmi and talented children of poor and middle-class families. He told that the process of one lakh 14 thousand government jobs has started in the state. A provision has been made for 50 percent reservation for women in teachers and 30 percent in police recruitment. Due to the special reservation system for women, elected women representatives in large numbers in Panchayat and urban bodies are doing good work.
