The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh interrogated Pakistani national Seema Haider, her lover Sachin, and his father for almost six hours at an undisclosed location in Noida. This occurs after the trio was granted bail under a set of restrictions a few days prior. Seema was not allowed to leave India without notifying the police, according to the rules set forth by the court. She was also instructed to let the court know if her present address changed.

How did it all start

Before they fell in love, Seema and Sachin communicated digitally on the game app PUBG Mobile. Later, she and her four children entered India illegally via Nepal and made it to Greater Noida, where Sachin resided. After a lawyer they had contacted for a marriage notification informed the authorities about Seema’s unauthorised travel, she and her companion were detained on July 4 in Ballabhgarh, Haryana. The three were detained along with Sachin’s father, but on July 8 they were all released on bail.

Seema Haider gets ultimatum to leave the country

Right-wing group Gau Raksha Hindu Dal gave Seema Haider a 72-hour deadline to leave the country earlier in the day. The group’s national head, Ved Nagar, declared in a video that Seema Haider might be a Pakistani spy and a danger to the nation. “We won’t tolerate a woman from a traitorous nation. If Seema Haider does not leave the country in 72 hours, we will begin an agitation,” said Nagar in the video. While, in an interview, Seema made an appeal to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to allow her to stay in India. “Please let me stay back in India with Sachin. If you send me back to Pakistan, they will stone me to death. I would rather die here than go back to Pakistan,” Seema requested the UP chief minister.

“Send my wife back,” appeals Seema’s husband

In the meantime, Seema’s husband Gulam Haider made a sincere plea to the Indian government to return his wife and kids to their country of origin. He said in a video that PUBG had been used to persuade and entice his wife into travelling to India. On the other hand, Seema’s friends and family made it clear that they don’t want her to return to Pakistan.

Seema Haider to be questioned again

The forensic lab will receive the erased smartphone data from Seema Haider. Considering that Seema’s uncle and brother are connected to the Pakistan Army, it is possible that her mobile data could provide vital information on critical topics. Additionally, there are currently inquiries regarding Seema’s unauthorised entry into India.

Her passport, Aadhar card and other documents related to her children will also be examined. The cops are also likely to question Sachin Meena, even today.
