Shah will arrive in Chennai on Wednesday evening.

On Thursday, the Minister will chair a conference of Chief Ministers from southern states and Puducherry at Kovalam in Chengalpattu district.

The meeting will take place at a private luxury hotel on East Coast Road.

Shah will lead the discussions and address the gathering.

According to his official itinerary, Shah will leave New Delhi on a special aircraft and reach Chennai’s old airport at 07:40 PM on Wednesday.

Officials and security personnel will receive him before he travels by road to Kovalam.

Authorities have strengthened security along the convoy route, particularly on East Coast Road. Surveillance and vehicle checks will increase between the airport and Kovalam.

Additional personnel will guard the old airport on Wednesday and Thursday.
