Amit Shah will release a ‘white paper’ against the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal on March 28 during his two-day visit to the poll-bound state, according to Bharatiya Janata Party sources.
The document will outline allegations and governance concerns ahead of the Assembly elections scheduled next month.
Party insiders indicated that the BJP will release its manifesto, termed ‘Sankalp Patra’, on April 3 or 4.
Leaders aim for Shah to unveil the document personally, reinforcing campaign messaging.
During a recent ‘Parivartan Yatra’ event in Raidighi, he had already highlighted key policy priorities if the party assumes power.
BJP state president Nitin Nabin chaired multiple high-level meetings with the party’s election management team.
Representatives from women’s groups, youth organisations, NGOs, religious bodies, and SC, ST, and OBC communities participated in the discussions. These deliberations focused on strengthening booth-level operations, expanding grassroots outreach, and refining electoral strategy.
The leadership emphasised the need for cohesive mobilisation across constituencies.
Nabin expressed confidence that voters in West Bengal seek change and aspire for governance free from fear, corruption, and instability. He identified development, women’s safety, employment generation, and effective delivery of welfare schemes as primary concerns among the electorate.
BJP state president urged party workers to actively engage with citizens, communicate the party’s vision, and ensure outreach at the household level.
The BJP views the upcoming election as a decisive moment that could shape the state’s future trajectory.
