On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will likely conduct a round of key meetings with BJP leaders and workers across Araria, Saran and Vaishali districts, as the party steps up its groundwork for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

As per party insiders, Shah’s engagements will start in Sarairanjan, Samastipur, at 11:30 AM, where he will address a regional gathering, before heading to Forbesganj, Araria, for another session at 2:30 PM.

He will likely fly back to Delhi later in the day from Purnia Airport.

These zonal-level interactions will also draw participants from adjoining districts and aim to strengthen the party’s organisational network at the grassroots ahead of the polls.

Saturday’s events follow the first leg of Shah’s two-day visit to Bihar.

Earlier on Friday, he began the tour in Bettiah, West Champaran, holding a meeting with party functionaries from Champaran and Saran.

During his address, he called for unity among workers and urged them to gear up for a decisive NDA win in the forthcoming elections.

Five-Zone Strategy to Boost Coordination

To boost coordination, the BJP has divided Bihar into five zones, with Shah personally leading a series of strategic meetings in each.

Representatives from 45 Assembly constituencies across 10 organisational districts, including booth-level workers who form the party’s core campaign base, attended the Bettiah session.

Taking to X, Shah posted, “Today, in Bettiah, Bihar, I held a meeting with senior BJP workers from the Champaran and Saran regions regarding the upcoming elections and issued necessary instructions. The workers from 45 assembly constituencies across 10 organisational districts in these regions are those who work diligently right down to the booth level. These regions will play a crucial role in forming the government in the state with an overwhelming majority for the NDA.”

Also present during these strategy discussions are the Bihar election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, co-incharges CR Patil and Keshav Maurya, along with the Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde.

Additionally, the party has named several ‘Pravasi’ leaders, including MPs and senior figures from states such as Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Jharkhand and Jammu & Kashmir, who will be stationed in Bihar to supervise campaign activities across different constituencies.
