Varanasi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to engage directly with party workers from five assembly constituencies in Varanasi on Wednesday evening. Shah will gather information about the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections from the Panna Pramukh and booth presidents at Motijheel in Mahmoorganj.
Party officials have confirmed that the Kashi region authorities have completed preparations to ensure the success of Home Minister Shah’s two-day visit to Varanasi. Alongside Shah, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers, BJP State President, and Organization General Secretary will also be in attendance.
During his visit, Home Minister Shah will inaugurate the Central Election Office of Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency at Tulsi Udyan in Mahmoorganj. After resting overnight at Nadesar Palace in Hotel Taj Ganga, located in Nadesar, the Home Minister will return to Delhi the following day after offering prayers at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
According to the BJP Kashi region media in-charge, party workers will commence drumming from Babatpur Airport on Wednesday. “We will welcome the Home Minister with conch shells and a shower of flowers upon his arrival in Varanasi. Upon arrival, the Home Minister will address around five thousand workers from the five assembly constituencies at Motijheel Mahmoorganj,” the media in-charge stated.
“After this address, Home Minister Shah will inaugurate the Central Election Office of Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency at Shah Tulsi Udyan. Subsequently, Shah will conduct a meeting with approximately 50 senior workers of the Lok Sabha constituency, including the Core Committee, Election Steering Committee, State Committee, and other top officials along with public representatives,” the party’s itinerary revealed.
Preparations for the visit were finalized by BJP Kashi region President Dilip Patel, Lok Sabha constituency in-charge Dr. Satish Dwivedi, Lok Sabha constituency convenor Surendra Narayan Singh Audhe, Mayor Ashok Tiwari, MLC and District-Metropolitan in-charge Dr. Arun Pathak, BJP District President Hansraj Vishwakarma, Metropolitan President Vidyasagar Rai, MLC Dharmendra Rai, and other officials.
