Amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha elections 2024, Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a speech at a public rally in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. During his address, Shah took a dig at Rahul Gandhi, highlighting Gandhi’s assertions about eradicating poverty in a single stroke.

Shah remarked, “Consider your past actions, Rahul Baba. Your grandmother imposed an Emergency in one fell swoop. Your father reintroduced triple talaq in one move, and your party actively worked to revoke reservation for backward communities in a single action.”

Shah confidently declared that following the culmination of the first three phases of the Lok Sabha polls, their party had already secured over 190 seats. He further expressed unwavering determination towards reaching the milestone of 400 seats in the fourth phase, under the guidance of PM Modi. Simultaneously, he noted the significant decline of the SP, BSP, and Congress, indicating their diminishing influence in the political landscape.

“After concluding the first three phases of the Lok Sabha polls, we have already secured over 190 seats. In the fourth phase, under the leadership of PM Modi, we are confidently advancing towards achieving 400 seats, while simultaneously witnessing the obliteration of the SP, BSP, and Congress,” Shah declared.

Lakhimpur Kheri is scheduled for voting on May 13th as part of the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
