Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday addressed a public rally in Paloura, Jammu.

Amit Shah asserted that Shyama Prasad Ji had given the slogan, ‘In one country, two constitutions, two prime ministers, and two flags will not work.’

“Today, Article 370 has been abolished from Jammu and Kashmir. Just like the entire country, here too, with pride and glory, our tricolor is waving high in the sky,” Shah said.

Addressing a public rally, Amit Shah stated, “There was a time when we couldn’t even imagine such gatherings. There was stone-pelting, gunfire, bombings, and announcements of strikes from Pakistan. The shadow of Article 370 loomed over the entire Jammu and Kashmir.”

“Today, Article 370 has been revoked. Terrorism is counting its last breaths. The youths who were once throwing stones now have laptops in their hands,” Shah added.

The Home Minister lashed out at the parties over dynasty politics. Shah said, “They (NC-PDP) propagate that the BJP wants to seize the valley. We are not among those who want to seize, but among those who want to win hearts.”

Shah further added, “When our love is found, even the lotus will bloom in the valley.”
