Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Amit Shah on Friday addressed a public rally in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Shah urged voters to make BJP victorious on all 80 Lok Sabha seats.
Addressing a public rally, Shah lauded the transformative efforts of Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh. He stated that within seven years, Yogi Adityanath had fortified the state’s law and order. He has eradicated the menace of mafia, and cow smuggling.
Shah further asserted that under Modi’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed remarkable infrastructural growth, including the establishment of four airports and twelve expressways. Additionally, his initiatives have brought electricity to 80 lakh rural homes, built 2.35 crore toilets, and ensured free grains for 14 crore beneficiaries.

Lashing out at Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Shah said, “Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge asks what do people of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh have to do with Kashmir. I want to tell them that every child of Moradabad is ready to give his life for Kashmir.”
“Congress has nurtured Article 370 like a child for 70 years. But as soon as Modi Ji became Prime Minister for the second time, on 5 August 2019, PM abrogated Article 370. Under Modi Ji’s leadership, Kashmir has permanently integrated with India, Shah added.

Meanwhile, Moradabad Lok Sabha constituency will undergo polls on 19 April as part of Phase 1. The counting of votes will take place on 4 June.
