Amit Katyal demanded extension of his interim bail on health grounds. The interim bail was ending on March 4th. The court has extended bail of Amit Katyal till March 5 and has also aked ED to file its reply on Katyal’s interim bail.
Developments in land for job case
In a land-for-job case including allegations of money laundering, the Rouse Avenue court in Delhi on Wednesday granted regular bail to Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Hema Yadav, and Hridyanand Chaudhary. Each of these defendants made a physical appearance in court. On February 9, they had already been given temporary bail.
Defendants were granted regular bail by Special Judge Vishal Gogne upon the presentation of a one lakh rupee bail bond and an equivalent surety bond. They weren’t detained while the investigation was ongoing, the court declared. There is no reason to fear that the accused will break the law.
Regarding the normal bail applications of Hema Yadav, Hridyanand Chaudhary, Misa Bharti, and Rabri Devi, the ED issued a reply. In his appearance, Snehal Sharda and the special public prosecutor (SPP) for ED Manish Jain stated that, given the seriousness of the charges, severe conditions might be placed on the bail.

The court hearing
Physical appearances were made by Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Hema Yadav, and Hridyanand Chaudhary. Amit Katyal made an appearance via video conference. On January 27, the Rouse Avenue court summoned the other accused parties in the case, including Misa Bharti, Hema Yadav, Hridyanand Chaudhary, and former chief minister of Bihar, Rabri Devi.
Once the ED’s charge sheet was taken into consideration, Special Judge Vishal Gogne summoned the accused parties. On the next hearing date, Amit Katyal must appear according to a production warrant issued by the court.
In this instance, two other companies have also been named as accused: AK Infosystem and AB Export. These companies have been the target of recognition. The court declared that there is enough information to take cognizance of the charge sheet.
