Amba Stavam Is A Supernatural Experience, Listen To It: PM Modi On Chaitra Navratri

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his wishes to the nation on the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri, emphasizing the emotional connection devotees feel during the festival.

Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Worshipping Maa Ambe during Navratri makes all the devotees emotional.”

Along with his message, the Prime Minister posted a devotional song, ‘Amba Stavam by 9 Ambas’, sung by nine young girls, calling it a supernatural experience and urging people to listen to it.

Celebration Of Fourth & Fifth Navratri Days

As per the Hindu calendar, both the fourth and fifth days of Navratri are being observed on Wednesday.

Devotees are worshipping Goddess Durga in her forms of Mata Kushmanda and Mata Skandamata.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also marked the occasion by sharing Sanskrit shlokas and prayers on social media.

“I pray to Maa Kushmanda, the fourth form of Goddess Shakti, the giver of perfections and treasures, to bestow happiness and prosperity on all devotees and the people of the state,” UP CM posted on X.

CM Adityanath further added, “Worshipping Skandamata, the fifth form of Adishakti Maa Durga, paves the way for progress and development. I pray to Jagatjanani that your blessings remain on the entire world and that everyone is blessed. Jai Maa Skandamata!”

Significance Of Mata Kushmanda & Mata Skandamata

Goddess Kushmanda is revered as the creator of the universe, symbolizing vitality and divine energy.

Her name is derived from three words:

  • Ku (little),
  • Ushma (warmth or energy), and
  • Anda (cosmic egg)

Her name represents prosperity, health, and courage.

She is however believed to be the supreme power governing the solar system, and worshipping her is said to help devotees overcome suffering and imperfections.

Goddess Skandamata, on the other hand, embodies motherhood and compassion, guiding devotees toward both spiritual and material success.

Navratri Festivities Across India

Navratri, meaning ‘nine nights’ in Sanskrit, is a grand festival dedicated to Goddess Durga and her nine manifestations, collectively known as Navdurga.

Devotees across the country participate in rituals, prayers, and temple visits, offering flowers and fruits to seek divine blessings for protection and prosperity.
