
At the inaugural World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 in Mumbai, Adobe announced a series of strategic initiatives.
The initiatives support India’s creative economy and the ‘Create in India, Create for the World’ vision.
Localised Tools And AI Integration For Indian Creators At WAVES
Adobe introduced several initiatives to empower Indian creators:
- Adobe Express in 8 Indian Languages: The platform now offers features in eight Indian languages, integrating generative AI to enhance accessibility and creativity for millions of users.
- 1 Million Localised Templates: Adobe plans to deliver one million new localised Express templates with affordable pricing plans tailored to the Indian market.
Strategic Partnerships To Foster Innovation AT WAVES
Adobe announced collaborations with several institutions to advance digital creativity:
- Tata Consultancy Services (TCS): Together, they launched an AI-powered Creative Experience Studio (ACES) to provide innovative tools and resources for Indian creators.
- Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT): Adobe and IICT are working to integrate digital creativity into education through free access to Adobe Creative Cloud, curriculum development, and faculty training.
- Accenture: The partnership aims to upskill students from over 50 design institutes across India.
Collaboration With Ministry Of Education
Adobe is working with the Education Ministry to bring digital creativity and AI to PM SHRI and CBSE schools.
The initiative offers free Adobe Express licenses and training for teachers and students.
Adobe’s Expansion Plans In India
Adobe plans to further its expansion in India by adding a new office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, by early 2026. This will be Adobe’s third campus in the state, underscoring its commitment to the Indian market.
Adobe aims to equip Indian creators to thrive in the global creative economy.
