The integrated Terminal 3 (T3) of the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA), which cost Rs. 2,400 crore to build, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With a max capacity of 4,000 passengers, T3 will serve both domestic and international aircraft.
During the inauguration of Terminal 3 at Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport in Lucknow, Karan Adani, the Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd, shared insights on the development prospects for Uttar Pradesh.
Adani’s Insights on UP’s Development
In a conversation with Bharat Express correspondent Rajneesh Pandey, Adani expressed his belief that the growth of Uttar Pradesh is crucial for India’s overall development.
He asserted, “I think if India wants to grow, UP must grow. There are a lot of opportunities for growth in UP.” Adani expressed optimism about the Adani Group’s prospects for investment in the state, stating, “We are hopeful we will get numerous opportunities for investment in the state.”
He highlighted the multitude of opportunities present in the state, particularly in sectors such as infrastructure, airports, roads, and logistics hubs.
Positive Changes Under Current Government
Karan Adani acknowledged significant changes under the current government. He noted, “The scenario has changed a lot, law and order have significantly improved, investor policies are now much friendlier compared to before, and, more importantly, good governance has taken power.” Adani’s remarks underscored the positive shift in the investment climate and governance landscape, signaling promising prospects for Uttar Pradesh’s economic development.
