Acharya Pramod Krishnam Criticises Rahul Gandhi For Calling Lord Ram A Mythological Character

Acharya Pramod Krishnam has lashed out at Rahul Gandhi. He said senior Congress leaders like Shashi Tharoor and Anand Sharma are upset with Rahul—not due to personal issues but because “Rahul Gandhi speaks against the nation.”

Krishnam praised Tharoor and Sharma as “patriotic parliamentarians.” He added, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi knows how to respect patriots.”

What Was Operation Sindoor?

Operation Sindoor was India’s swift military response to a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. On May 15, terrorists ambushed an Army convoy. They killed five soldiers and injured several others. Indian intelligence traced the attackers to Pakistan-based terror groups.

India launched a precision strike across the Line of Control. It targeted terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Reports said Indian forces neutralised several militants and destroyed infrastructure.

Acharya Pramod supported the Prime Minister’s action. “Pakistan deserves to be reprimanded, and the Prime Minister has rightly done so,” he said. “PM Modi is a people’s leader who has exposed Pakistan completely.”

He said Rahul Gandhi does not support the country in times of crisis. “From the start, I have said Rahul Gandhi goes against national interest,” he added.

Anand Sharma had earlier praised Operation Sindoor. He said the Army’s action was necessary and deserved support. He urged leaders to stand united on national security.

Acharya Pramod’s remarks show the deepening divide within the Congress party. Senior leaders continue to support strong action against terror, even as Rahul Gandhi faces criticism for his stance.
