Acharya Pramod Krishnam Slams Owaisi’s Claims On Muslims’ Exodus In Sambhal

A strong response has emerged from the Sant Samaj regarding a recent claim made by Asaduddin Owaisi, Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief, about the supposed exodus of Muslims from Sambhal.

Kalki Peethadheeshwar Acharya Pramod Krishnam strongly refuted Owaisi’s allegations, calling them false and accusing him of spreading ‘a blatant lie’ about the situation in Sambhal.

Owaisi’s Claim On Social Media

The controversy began on February 16 when Owaisi took to the social media platform ‘X’, claiming that Muslims in Sambhal were being forced to flee their homes out of fear and oppression. He accused the government of targeting Muslims and carrying out collective punishment against them.

Furthermore, Owaisi raised concerns about the spread of rumors regarding the migration of Hindus.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam Responds

In a swift and strong rebuttal, Acharya Pramod Krishnam, Peethadheeshwar of Kalki Dham in Anchoda Kamboh, Sambhal, countered Owaisi’s claims.

Through a social media post, he tagged Owaisi directly, stating: “Lying is haram in Islam, Owaisi sahab. And you are telling a blatant lie about Sambhal that Muslims are migrating. It is not permissible to call the escape of criminals as ‘migration’. A ‘fatwa’ issue against you.”

Acharya Pramod Krishnam further clarified that there was no migration happening in Sambhal. Instead, he stated that some criminals were fleeing due to the administration’s intensified actions against lawbreakers. He emphasized that it was wrong to attribute a religious motive to the situation.

Local Administration And Public Response

While the local administration has yet to issue an official statement on the matter, some informal remarks from local officials suggest that the issue is not related to migration but is instead a consequence of increased police action.

The controversy surrounding Owaisi’s claim has sparked debates, but both local authorities and the Sant Samaj are standing firm in rejecting any religious undercurrents associated with the ongoing developments in Sambhal.
