Prime Minister Narendra Modi sharply criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge over the party’s approach to election promises, intensifying the ongoing tension between the BJP and Congress. PM Modi’s critique came after Kharge advised Congress leaders to make only financially feasible commitments, cautioning against promises they couldn’t deliver.
On social platform X, PM Modi wrote, “Congress is realizing that making false promises is easy, but delivering on them is difficult or impossible. They promise the public what they can’t fulfill. Now, people see through their tactics.”
Meanwhile, Peethadhishwar Acharya Pramod Krishnam of Kalki Dham criticized Congress in a post on X, alleging they make “false promises” to win elections, deceiving the public. He wrote, “Making announcements isn’t wrong, but it’s a huge deception to make false promises just for votes. Promise only what you can deliver, or people will lose faith in democracy.”
Earlier, Acharya Krishnam targeted Congress over the UP by-election, accusing Rahul Gandhi of reducing the party to “ashes.” He even suggested Congress hand its flag to the Samajwadi Party and merge with them in Lucknow.
Acharya Krishnam also invited people to the 108 Kundiya Shiladan Mahayagya on November 7, marking the construction of Shri Kalki Dham in Sambhal, UP. This unique temple, dedicated to the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, will span five acres and is expected to take five years to complete.
