Sanjay Singh, a member of the Aam Aadmi Party, has been expelled from the Rajya Sabha. This action has been taken against him for obstructing the proceedings of the House. The opposition surrounded and vigorously attacked the central government on the Manipur issue as soon as the Monday proceedings of the House began.
