AAP Launches Lok Sabha Campaign with ‘Sansad mein bhi Kejriwal’ Slogan

Highlighting the achievements of AAP-led governments, Kejriwal pointed out that Delhi and Punjab are the only states providing free electricity to citizens

AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, alongside his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann, kicked off the party’s Lok Sabha campaign with the slogan ‘Sansad mein bhi Kejriwal, to Dilli hogi aur khush haal’ (With Kejriwal in Parliament, Delhi will prosper). The campaign launch, held at the Aam Aadmi Party headquarters on DDU Marg, saw the participation of party leaders and workers.

“I’ve dedicated myself to serving the people of Delhi, who are like my family,” remarked Mr. Kejriwal. He emphasized the significance of the campaign slogan, underscoring the prosperity Delhi has experienced under AAP’s governance.

Highlighting the achievements of AAP-led governments, Kejriwal pointed out that Delhi and Punjab are the only states providing free electricity to citizens. He criticized the BJP-led central government for obstructing AAP’s initiatives through the Delhi Lt Governor and urged voters to strengthen the opposition’s representation in Parliament.

Addressing the alleged hurdles faced by the Kejriwal government, including the demolition of Mohalla Clinics and obstruction of welfare schemes, Kejriwal rallied support for AAP’s parliamentary candidates. He announced plans for distributing pamphlets detailing the party’s accomplishments during the campaign.

Echoing Kejriwal’s sentiments, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann predicted a resounding victory for AAP in Punjab, accusing the central government of impeding the progress of both Delhi and Punjab. He stressed the importance of having a substantial AAP presence in Parliament to safeguard Punjab’s interests.

AAP’s collaboration with the Congress party under the INDIA bloc was underscored, by seat-sharing arrangements established in Delhi, Gujarat, and Haryana. However, both parties decided to contest independently in Punjab. In Delhi, AAP will contest four out of seven seats, with Congress fielding candidates for the remaining three. Additionally, AAP secured constituencies in Gujarat and Haryana under the agreement.
