Accused in Amazon Manager murder case
Two people, including the primary suspect, were detained by the Delhi Police on Thursday in connection with the murder of 36-year-old Harpreet Gill, a senior Amazon manager. The primary culprit, Mohd Sameer alias Maya, and the second accused, Bilal Gani, were both named by the police. According to authorities, both accused are 18 years old.

At almost 2:00 a.m. today, Bilal Gani was reportedly detained close to the Signature Bridge. In Subhash Vihar in Bhajanpura, five unidentified assailants shot and killed Gill at around 11.30 p.m. on Tuesday after opening fire on him and his relative Govind Singh (32). According to the police, the other three accomplices were Sohail alias Bawarchi, 23, Mohd Junaid alias Biryani, 23, and Adnan alias Don, 19.

On Tuesday night, a gathering of the accused was taking place in Gani’s home. Later, at almost 10.30 p.m., they made the decision to leave for a ride, according to the police, who added that Mohd Sameer and Maya were both carrying guns.

In addition, Harpreet Gill and his relative were approaching from the opposite direction, obstructing the path. The Amazon manager and his uncle were soon involved in a physical altercation with the five accused.
Later, Mohd Sameer fired a few shots at Harpreet Gill and his relative before fleeing the scene. While his uncle was receiving medical attention at the hospital, Harpreet Gill was pronounced dead there.
