The Press Information Bureau’s (PIB) official Fact Check unit has refuted a misleading video posted by the YouTube channel ‘VishalYadavNews’, which falsely claims that the Chief Justice of India (CJI) has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to initiate a probe against the Government.
The video, which gained rapid traction across social media platforms, suggested that India’s top judicial authority had taken action against the Government, an allegation that has now been categorically denied.
In a clear response, PIB Fact Check issued a public advisory stating, “YouTube channel ‘VishalYadavNews’, in a video, has claimed that the Chief Justice of India (CJI) has directed the CBI to act against the Government #PIBFactCheck. This claim is fake! The CJI has not ordered any CBI probe against the Government. Do not fall for misinformation. Always cross-check with official sources before sharing or believing any such content.”
