On Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Sunny stated that he is now regarded as one of the military’s own and that he is really proud of Border. He also discussed the recent huge success of Gadar 2, which has rekindled interest in a film sequel to the original.

What did Sunny Deol say?

The actor said, “There was a sequence that didn’t make it to the final edit when asked whether he had a favorite moment from Border. It was a beautiful spectacle. It was written by the father of JP Dutta. I’m in the little temple at the very end of the movie. When I turned around, I could see that the bunker that had been demolished was still emitting firelight. All of my fallen warriors are gathered around the fire when I walk over and see them. I speak with them and tell them that I will take care of their families, repair their home’s leaky roof, and speak with their mothers. I feel as though they are there.

About Border 2

Several years ago, Border 2 was indeed in the works, according to Sunny, but it was shelved when his films started to struggle financially. “We wished we had done this sooner. I can recall 2015… But later, my flicks flopped. People were afraid to make it, so log ghabra ke nahi banana chah rahe was the result. Everyone wants to pull that off now! he exclaimed.
