Vidya Balan, known for her iconic portrayal of Manjulika in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, has officially begun shooting for the highly anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Excitement buzzed as she shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse on her Instagram feed, featuring the auspicious muhurat shot of the film. Joining her in this spooky yet hilarious journey are Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri. Kartik, who was part of the second installment, adds to the anticipation. In the shared video, Kartik and Triptii share an affectionate hug, while all three artists participate in the traditional arti ceremony as part of the muhurat shot. Anees Bazmee helms the directorial, promising an engaging cinematic experience.

Just days prior, Kartik Aaryan took to social media to announce the commencement of filming for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Sharing a picture seeking blessings from God at home, he captioned, “Starting The Biggest Film Of My Career Today. #Shubharambh #BhoolBhulaiyaa3.”
Meanwhile, fans will rejoice with the return of Vidya Balan, absent from the second installment. However, the absence of Akshay Kumar, who starred in the first film, continues, with director Anees Bazmee confirming to Zoom, “No, Akshay is not a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I am dying to work with him, but unfortunately, I have not been able to script a film where we could work together. In future, certainly yes.”
Anticipation mounts as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to hit the big screens on Diwali 2024.
