Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, who has recently risen to greater prominence following the success of his latest film Chhaava, has publicly honoured the Indian Armed Forces for their courage and sacrifice.
On Tuesday, the actor shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, offering his support and admiration for the men and women who safeguard the nation.
Kaushal’s post included two powerful images. The first captured a soldier from one of India’s elite forces bowing before Lord Hanuman, symbolising both reverence and resilience.
The second featured Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh two key military officers who played instrumental roles in briefing during Operation Sindoor, India’s recent counter-terror offensive.
Accompanying the images was a caption in which the actor expressed profound gratitude:”The way to peace is through strength. Saluting the unmatched bravery and precision of our Indian Armed Forces. No words can ever describe the gratitude and pride we feel in our hearts for our true heroes. We exist because of you. Jai Hind.”
Context: Operation Sindoor
Operation Sindoor, launched by India in the early hours of 7 May, was a high-precision military response to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack in April that claimed the lives of 26 tourists.
The Indian Armed Forces targeted nine terror camps within Pakistan’s territory, reportedly eliminating close to 100 terrorists and destroying critical infrastructure.

Following the strikes, tensions between India and Pakistan intensified. Pakistan allegedly launched a retaliatory manoeuvre by deploying surveillance drones and firing advanced missiles, including the Chinese-manufactured PL-15 and a Fatah missile.
In response, India activated its advanced air-defence systems, notably the Russian-made S-400, to intercept and neutralise all aerial threats effectively.
Indian forces also brought down a Pakistani Mirage aircraft—ironically made by Dassault Aviation, the same French firm that manufactures India’s Rafale fighter jets.
India’s Firm Warning
In the aftermath of Operation Sindoor and the ensuing hostilities, India has adopted an uncompromising stance.
Government officials have declared that any future terror attacks emanating from Pakistani soil will be treated as acts of war, underlining the nation’s sharpened policy on national security.
