Vicky Kaushal takes time off from filming ‘The Great Indian Family’ to spend Ganpati with his own family while he waits for fans to see him. On Wednesday, the actor was seen going to the well-known Lalbaugcha Raja for darshan with his parents. Vicky, his mother and father, and action director Sham Kaushal can be seen in the viral footage of his pandal debut standing in the thick of the mob while they wait to go.

The actor looked good in a green kurta while sporting a beard. As soon as they reached the mandapa, he was spotted closely grasping his mother’s hand while father Sham walked nearby. When followers discovered he was present, they recorded his films on their phones in astonishment. The family was able to enter the building without any difficulty, but they had to navigate through the mob to get to Bappa. Vicky stayed calmly there, signaling to the organizers that he would wait as the gathering became tighter around him. Even as they joked around, the family looked amused by the audience.

Vicky Kaushal and his parents’ tolerance for enduring such a crowd surprised the fans greatly. Comments such as “Vicky is a down-to-earth and humble man” were made. According to posts on paparazzi accounts, “Aunty is so excited to see Ganpati,” “Kitni acchi and sweet family hai.” Some people also questioned Katrina Kaif’s absence. “Katrina bhabhi kahan hai?” one user asked. “The family is incomplete without Katrina,” another commented.
