Following the success of Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1, actor Rukmini Vasanth is now gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. The project has already sparked curiosity, with the actor pointing to its extraordinary scale as a defining feature.

During a recent interaction with the media, Rukmini spoke about the film’s magnitude, underlining that it stands apart from anything she has encountered in her career so far.

“The scale of it is certainly unlike anything that I have seen yet,” she said.

Rukmini also shed light on the distinct world being developed for the film, emphasising its originality and ambition. She praised director Geetu Mohandas and lead actor Yash for shaping a cinematic space that feels both vast and entirely new.

“I just think that the world that our director Geetu Mohandas and our star Yash are building is just so expansive, so new—it feels really pioneering to me. So I’m excited to be involved in it, and I think I’m really excited to see how people respond to it and how they react to this new world,” she shared.

Reflecting on her journey with the project, Rukmini expressed gratitude for being part of such a large-scale production. She also conveyed her eagerness for the film’s release and the audience’s response.

“I’m very blessed. But what I’m really excited about is Toxic, which is out on June 4th,” she added.

Producers Venkat K Narayana and Yash are backing the film under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.

The film features a notable cast, including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, and Tara Sutaria. It also stars Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair.

The makers plan to release the film in multiple Indian and international languages. These include Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, ensuring it reaches a diverse audience.

Apart from Toxic, Rukmini Vasanth is also working on an upcoming project with Jr NTR, directed by Prashanth Neel.

In addition, she is currently developing a few other projects that she has yet to announce officially.
