Pop sensation Taylor Swift recently delivered a memorable performance during her second show of the Eras Tour in Milan, featuring unexpected surprises and a minor piano mishap.
During the highly anticipated secret song segment, Swift delighted fans with two surprise mashups, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.
The evening took an interesting turn after she showcased a guitar mashup of the vault track ‘Mr. Perfectly Fine’ from ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ and ‘Red’ from ‘Red (TV)’.
As she transitioned to the piano, the 14-time Grammy winner attempted a mashup of ‘Getaway Car’ and ‘Out of the Woods’ from ‘Reputation’.
However, her colorful, flower-adorned piano had other ideas, malfunctioning just as she started.
In a light-hearted moment, Swift remarked to the audience, “We have finally broken this thing,” while peeking beneath the piano lid, a moment captured in a fan video shared on TikTok.
A crew member promptly rushed in to address the issue, and shortly after, a follow-up video on X showed Swift successfully closing the piano lid and cheerfully exclaiming, “Oh, I did it.”
Swift has performed ‘Getaway Car’ three times on this tour, most notably alongside collaborator Jack Antonoff in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Prior to her Milan show, she enchanted fans with two performances in Switzerland, expressing her admiration for the ‘stunningly beautiful’ country on Instagram.
To celebrate her 113th concert on the Eras Tour, Swift also performed some of her favorite tracks, starting with ‘Right Where You Left Me’ from ‘evermore’ and ‘All You Had To Do Was Stay’ from ‘1989’, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained despite the brief piano hiccup.
