The upcoming legal drama System, featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Jyotika, is likely to premiere on Prime Video on May 22, 2026.
The film revolves around a gripping narrative that follows a privileged public prosecutor and a humble courtroom stenographer who join forces to uncover hidden injustices, ultimately confronting a choice between power and justice.
The plot centres on Neha Rajvansh, played by Sonakshi Sinha, and Sarika Rawat, portrayed by Jyotika.
Despite their contrasting social backgrounds, the two women form an unlikely partnership in pursuit of truth and justice.
The film also features Ashutosh Gowariker along with Preeti Agarwal, Adinath Kothare, Aashriya Mishra, Gaurav Pandey and Sayandeep Gupta in key roles.
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is directing the project. Baweja Studios is backing the film, while Pammi Baweja, Harman Baweja and Smitha Baliga are serving as producers.
Producer Harman Baweja described the film as a gripping legal drama centred on two strong-willed women navigating different worlds and united by their pursuit of justice. He further highlighted the collaboration with Prime Video and the director as instrumental in bringing the story to life with scale and authenticity.
Nikhil Madhok, director and head of Originals at Prime Video India, noted that the film explores themes of ambition, justice and ethics, and is expected to offer compelling viewing with unexpected twists.
Prime Video will stream the film globally on May 22, 2026.
