Swara Bhaskar surprised her fans by marrying social activist Fahad Ahmed in court last month. Following this, the couple held a traditional Indian wedding complete with rituals in Delhi. On social media, pictures of their sangeet, haldi, and other pre-wedding festivities are going viral.
Swara and Fahad held their wedding reception at the Delhi Air Force Auditorium on Thursday. The lavish wedding reception of the newly married couple was attended by a large number of prominent people from the entertainment and political sectors.

The couple’s reception was attended by numerous prominent political figures, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, leader of the Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, and former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Jaya Bachchan, on the other hand, from Bollywood, was also present at the couple’s wedding reception and blessed the couple with good wishes.

Swara Fahad’s Qawwali night
Swara and Fahad also hosted a qawwali night on March 15th. This night was also attended by the Samajwadi Party leader ‘Akhilesh Yadav’. The actress looked stunning for the ceremony wearing a black velvet ethnic costume with golden embroidery. Swara topped off her look with maang tika and hefty accessories. Additionally, she was seen displaying her mangal sutra.
